Anjum was appointed as the Dialogue Development Officer for Blackburn Cathedral in 2007

She is the first Muslim woman appointed to a Cathedral staff, where she works closely with Canon Chris Chivers, developing positive inter-faith relations.

The session was in a question and answer format and was attended by 60 people at the Baptist Assembly.

  • The apparent link between Islam and terrorism
  • Faith schools
  • The future of “muli-culturism”
  • Segregation in communities
  • The place of Jesus in Islam
  • Being true to your Christian faith
